Abstract

Presently almost all commercial transport

vehicle used Diesel engine, so it’s become a major power

source in the transportation sector as well as in individual

transport. Due to widely use of diesel engine it plays an

important role in the man-made emissions. Nowadays developed

technologies are used to reduce the consumption of fuel and

exhaust emission of a diesel engine. Due to which the fuel

consumption in a CI engine is reduced to a considerable amount,

but the emission of smoke, HC and CO is a critical issue. This

paper tries to shows the opportunity of using emulsified fuel and

its impct on exhaust emission from CI engine
